So it is now the sixth week of NFL play and the Saints are undefeated (I hesitate to write this and thus jinx my boys). How awesome are they doing? And not just the offense which is really rocking with all their stud receivers and running backs, but the defense is doing pretty great too. I hope we don't have too many bandwagon jumpers because you know it's happening. Where were you guys when they only won 3 games? Exactly.
Florida won against Arkansas on Saturday simply because the officials wanted Florida to win. That sounds harsh but it was way too obvious to everyone not a UF fan that all the calls were going Florida's way. Ugh. It was horrible and Florida needed every one of those calls to win. There's no way they should be ranked #1. Alabama are way better so far, as much as it pains me to praise Nick Saban.
Michigan finally whacked a team. Too bad it was Delaware State, but a win is a win and I'm not complaining.
I have been watching the "Jon and Kate Plus 8" divorce drama. I know, it's like watching a train wreck; you can't look away as much as you try. So the latest thing is that TLC is suing the dad for breach of contract, the mom is going to be the one on the tv show (because everyone loved her sincerity every week, right?) and now the kids are distressed from the whole thing. She says it's because they're not filming right now and that's why the kids are so upset. Geez, you think it might have something to do with your crazy bad divorce and seeing their respective parents plastered all over the tabloid magazines and tv every second? I'm sure the older kids get to hear all kinds of stuff at school and who knows if the younger ones really know what's going on. Listen, Kate, you need to get your priorities straight and take care of you kids. If you're having trouble making ends meet, downsize. That 18 kids and counting family visited their friends that had like 16 kids and they lived in a house that was less than 2000 sq. ft. and they were making it. You really don't need a multimillion dollar home, lavish trips, etc. Take care of the kids, get them and yourself out of the limelight and love each other. 'Nuff said.
I really want to see that Zombieland movie. It looks way funny and has Woody Harrelson in it. Woody! It's gotta be good if he's in it right? Any comedic zombie movie with Woody is just screaming good to me. :)
Another sign that everything comes back around, they're going to have "V" on ABC this fall. I hope they have a Robert England cameo as a vegan alien dude.
Guess that's enough for today. More to come. :)
