Where do I start?

I hate stupid people. Have I mentioned this before? I also hate people who cannot take responsibility for their own actions. We have become a nation of people of it's never your fault, it's someone or something else that is causing all your problems. What brought this on you ask? Well, let's start with this lady. She went back to school to get a better job. Who doesn't, right? Well, now she's blaming the school for not getting a job. Welcome to the real world, chica. Just because you have a degree doesn't guarantee you a good job. She's now suing the school because she says they promised her a job after graduating and they aren't delivering. She also says that the school was biasedly (is that a word?) helping students that had 4.0 GPA instead of her with her 2.7 GPA. Gee, ya think? And she wonders why employers aren't beating down her door. She wants all her tuition money back. Good luck with that. If I were the judge on this case, I'd be like, "Not only are you not getting your money back, but you need to pay for all the fees and costs that are associated with dealing with this b.s." Probably won't happen, but I'm just saying.

Then there are these two ladies. Look, I realize that as journalists that they try to get hard hitting stories and want to go where most people don't to get these stories, but when you get arrested for entering North Korea illegally, I don't think the American taxpayers should foot the bill for Bill Clinton having to go over there to negotiate their release. Lesson here, don't go to a communist country that you're not allowed to be in!

Which leads to these buttheads. Again, don't go where you're not supposed to (see paragraph 2 of this rant). If the area is in a region where borders are a bit hazy or undefined, stay clear of there. I find it somewhat hard to believe they couldn't find someplace else to hike besides the Iran border. Call me crazy.

I'm not trying to be overly callous but when the country is in the state that it's in, I think it's wrong to say we can pay for all the efforts to get you back when you irresponsibly put yourself in harms way. These are not stupid people, but they acted stupidly. Well, the jury is out on the first lady.

Maybe I need to lay off the Red Bull at life.sa.laugh@hotmail.com.
